About me

My path doesn’t run in a straight line. That turns out to be the useful part.

I started in computer science: close to the machine, far away from the people who eventually pay for it. Marketing came next, because why someone buys began to interest me more than how the system behind it is built. Then philosophy, at the Munich School of Philosophy, because the hardest questions in business are rarely technical ones. Then systemic coaching training at IFW Munich, 2001 to 2003, because decisions get made inside organizations, not inside spreadsheets. Alongside all of it, and ever since: 25+ years in digital business, from startups to enterprise, leading my own teams and other people’s.

On paper it reads like a detour. In practice it’s what you call me for.

What actually reaches you

Two things, I think.

The first one is hard for me to name, and I’ve stopped trying to turn it into a framework: I see patterns earlier than most people do. I can look at a system and at my own role inside it at the same time. Perhaps it’s the ability to abstract. I’m honestly not sure.

The second is translation. In the rooms I sit in, business, technology, legal, and data use the same words and mean different things. I keep sorting the perspectives until everyone has the same picture in front of them. After that the decision is usually easy — not because I made it, but because it became visible.

Why AI isn’t a slide here

I don’t just talk about AI, I build with it — as an entrepreneur, in companies of my own that stand apart from what I offer here.

So when I tell you what’s feasible, what it will cost you, and where it breaks, that comes from my own workshop, not from a deck. And what I do in those companies stays there: it isn’t part of what you book on this site.

I live in Munich, grew up German-French, and have four children — translating between perspectives isn’t only a job around here.

If you want to find out whether that fits your situation: 30 minutes, no pitch.
